Well I made those no bake chocolate cookies, if you didn't see already, the
recipe is on this board. The topic is called no bake chocolate cookies, so
go check that out if you didn't already. I used dark chocolate chips,
broken pretzels, and coconut. It's very hard to crush pretzels; I had to
put them in a sandwich bag and crush them with the back of a spoon. A
kitchen hammer probably would have worked, but we don't have a kitchen
hammer. Anyway, Alex liked them; he said they're very good. I wanted to
make them with dark chocolate and peanut butter chips, but Alex doesn't
like peanut butter, so I had to leave that out. I'll be making these a lot, so
maybe I'll do that next time. The recipe calls for 12 ounces of chocolate
chips, but if I use a cup of each kind of chips, that's 16 ounces, but that's
ok. The more chocolate the better. The bags of chocolate chips at
Shoprite were 10 ounces, so I bought 2 bags since I needed 12. I was
going to just measure out the other 2 ounces, but I figured what the heck
I'll just use all of it. That being said, I had to use a tad more butter.
That's ok; you don't even taste the butter. I think the butter just helps
the cookies stay together when you put them in blobs on the cookie sheet.
Otherwise you'd have pools of chocolate. They were awesome; I highly
recommend you try them.
Why you couldn't have posted this update to your original board is beyond me. Its stuff like this that makes me think you're simply trying to take up space. Cody and Fluffy would not approve of this.
